Making of the Essentials -video
Iittala wanted to create a video that would document how glass objects are created at the Iittala Glass Factory.
The film is a story of the Iittala Glass Factory. It reveals how Iittala design icons are created by making their components and the authentic process visible. The tone of the film is harmonious and poetic, yet it captures the intensity and tactility of glass making by using focused close-ups and bold scenery for storytelling.
The feedback has been phenomenal. The video succeeded in capturing the soul of the brand, and within a few weeks, the video has become the most viewed Iittala video.
